RANT ALERT!

Bite Me Shockwave!

I was wandering around the internet, checking out some new games with which to entertain myself, and I came across a game called Mosaic, which can be found on the Shockwave site. If you’d like to give it a shot yourself, go HERE , just don’t get attached to it.

It tells you that you can download it for free, and since the extended version has a lot more levels and is way more challenging and it’s FREE, why not? I don’t normally download games onto my hard drive, but I know Shockwave is a site I can trust, so I decided to take the chance.

So I patiently downloaded and installed the game, and of course I couldn’t resist playing it just once. It was even better than the on-line version and I was up to level 15 when all of a sudden it told me my trial was up! WTF??? The free downloadable version is only good for one hour of playing time. Angry doesn’t even to begin to describe how I feel about this.

Stupid lying game site!

The rest of my weekend wasn’t much better. The sun we were promised? Oh, it showed up late in the day yesterday, just in time to pierce through the dining room window and right into the daughter’s eyes while we had supper.

It was mostly grey and miserable on the weekend and I was tired and headachey. My sinuses starting filling up again which of course means they dripped down the back of my throat causing me to cough a lung up. I swear it’s the weather that’s doing it - grey, damp, weather equals filled sinuses.

Stupid weather!

I have a huge, old dresser in the bedroom and it’s my habit after getting dressed in the morning to leave my p.j.s neatly folded up on top of it so they’re ready for bedtime. Saturday night I went to put them on and I couldn’t find the top. The plum coloured top.

*sigh* You guessed it, my little underpants gnome jumped up on the dresser and stole it. Then, during the night, she dug a pink sweater and a pink, satin night shirt out of my closet and left them in the middle of the floor. And this morning I found two unmatched socks in the living room.

Stupid cat!
