Finally Friday

I have to make a statement here. Some people should not be allowed within 100 feet of the dollar store. I am one of them. I bought not one, not two, but FIVE six inch high stone gargoyles. Granted each one is different, but still, did I really need all five? I refuse to put them outside in the pond garden (their intended destination) until the danger of snow is gone, so I have one sitting on my plant shelf, two on a bookcase in the living room, and two on top of the television.

I also bought some fancy printer paper, that promptly went into the drawer with the 20 or 30 other packages of fancy printer paper I have, and a couple of pretty ceramic pots for my miniature orchids (orchids prefer clay/ceramic pots to plastic).

And I’d like to add that only a crazy person goes shopping the day before Good Friday. Okay, make that two crazy persons, the daughter and I. The Dollarama was bad enough, but Wal Mart was down right scarey! Forget grocery shopping. I may be crazy but I’m not totally insane.

That was pretty much the highlight of my day yesterday. That and getting my poem done for the PAD challenge. Although I’m not producing as many words, I feel that I’m working just as hard during the PAD challenge as I did for the NaNoWriMo. It’s a different head set, that’s all.

Okay, because it’s a long weekend I’ve brought you not one, but two quizzes for your entertainment. Enjoy. I’m off to watch the Star Wars marathon. ;-)

Your Supervillain Name is Malice Hunter

Muhahahaha!

You Are a Black Panther

You see through people. You understand others' motives and plans.

You have a knack for predicting the future. You just know what people are going to do.

People are attracted to you. You are naturally able to influence other people's thoughts.

You have the charisma to be a beloved guru or dictator. It's all about how you handle it.

You remind me of my kids. They come home with the funnest things from the dollar store. Probably not what I would spend my allowance on, but it makes them happy, so it's fine by me.

The gargoyles sound cool.

That's awesome about your poem!
