First of all, I need to say that I still like the new blogger. But a word of advice - write down your user name and password so you don't lose them!
I have a beautiful room, the original master bedroom, which is desginated my office. It has book cases, filing cabinets and a honking big desk. And I haven't used it since the summer when my desktop computer died and I bought my lap top. Despite my best efforts it seems to be a clutter magnet, and the desk (one of those corner deals with the hutch on top) takes up so much room it makes me claustrophobic.
This is my dream . . . to be able to write in my office.
All it will take to make my dream come true is organization. The big closet has no doors and I need to get everything non-office out of it. I want to put in a wrap-around counter to set my printers up on, with storage underneath. The hutch is coming off the desk and the desk itself is going to be reduced in size. And the two ratty looking filing cabinets that are filled with stuff but rarely get used are going to have to go. I bought four plastic file boxes (that hold hanging files) and anything that can't fit into them gets chucked.
This is going to take awhile. But in the long run I think it will be worth it.

New Year
Normally I don't like change a whole lot. Didn't like it when the daughter went off to University, don't like it when friends move away, HATE it when they make dumb ass changes at work, DESPISE the Internet Explorer 7. But the new Blogger, now that's a change for the better.
Much easier to use than the old one and I haven't found any problems yet. But then I've only been using it for an hour or two so far. Let's not pass judgement until we've given it time.
